"My name is Troy Freeburn, I am a Goori man of the Bundjalung nation. Father of two deadly (awesome) students at Summerland.

My role in my community is assistant pastor at Heartlands Church Casino, which is part of the International Network of Churches (INC). I am currently a project officer for Casino High School and work in partnership with Casino West Primary and Casino Public Schools.

Celebrating NAIDOC week is an awesome opportunity to share and celebrate the culture and traditions of Australia's first people's. You can't beat sitting around a fire having a good yarn and bush food.

We chose a Christian School because want our jarjums (kids) to learn and grow in a School environment where their Faith is encouraged and nurtured on a solid foundation based on the Word of God."
